Matthias currently works as an executive at a Milwaukee-area non-profit organization as well as owning is own business with his business partner John Schlick. Previously Matthias was employed as a full-time faculty member at a local University for eight years where he primarily taught strategy, finance and accounting classes. Before that, he worked for five years for a national mortgage company as Director of Wholesale Services and Manager of Secondary Marketing. Originally from West Germany, Matthias came to the United States in 1994 to pursue a career as a musician. After a total of six years of extensive travel though the United States, Australia, and Europe, he changed direction and decided to pursue a University degree in Wisconsin. Matthias now holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Finance and an MBA with a Finance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in addition to three undergraduate degrees. Matthias lives with his wife, three children, and too many rescue animals in Waukesha, WI. Matthias is an avid supporter of Borussia Dortmund and a big fan of the Denver Broncos.
